The plain truth is: Not only do I love to marry people, I love to make sure my marriage ceremonies are
remembered for years to come.
I am a professional writer. I've published more than six books and traveled the book circuit — as a result,
writing and public speaking are among my strongest points.
Every ceremony I create is different because every couple I marry is different with different wants
and needs. As part of my services, I carefully take you through every phase of your ceremony, starting
with the Gathering Message and Vows, but also including Special Touches such as symbolic rituals, faith or culture-based additions, a pre-rehearsal meeting, a detailed sheet that diagrams your Processional/Recessional and even the how/when/where/what of obtaining your wedding license.
My fees vary according to the type of ceremony, the complexity, the amount of writing and the prep time needed. Currently my weddings start at $200, but once you decide on the type of ceremony you want,
I can give you an exact fee right away. As always, I am happy to set up a complimentary consultation --
no obligation, of course.

Heartfelt... Romantic... Loving... Non-Religious... Spiritual... Multi-Cultural... Personal... All About You!
Of all the aspects of a wedding, your ceremony is probably the most important piece of your wedding day.

We all know that weddings can get to be very expensive. In order to help couples live within a reasonable budget, I offer a number of different "packages" with different price points. Any of these ceremonies can be adapted to incorporate other features such as including your children or other family members, themes, bi-lingual — you dream it, we can do it!

LGBTQ: "We've come a long way baby," so to speak and as such, same-sex marriages are really a non-issue (and I couldn’t be happier). Like any other wedding, your ceremony can be anything you want it to be. But in my experience, there are desired nuances. From traditional to secular and all the places in between,
I understand those nuances and can help you create exactly the kind of vows that reflect your wants and desires, your hopes and dreams for the perfect ceremony. My goal is to learn about your love, what is
important to each of you, and then to create the kind of memories that last a lifetime.
NEW YORK CITY/DESTINATION WEDDINGS: Many couples choose to make New York City the location for their destination wedding. I am an approved New York City Officiant registered with ID #1538098. Working long-distance takes experience and I have just that. Choose anyone of the ceremony styles above or write up your own. I can also help you negotiate the sometimes stressful process of obtaining a marriage license in
New York City.
DESTINATION WEDDINGS OUTSIDE NEW YORK: Don't want to take a chance on who will be your Marriage Officiant when you get to your destination? I'm happy to go where you go. The fee will be based on type of ceremony and time needed. Air and lodging, if necessary, for destination weddings are provided by the couple.
MARRY US ON THE SPOT, CAROLINE...
Why wait? And why have your wedding at City Hall when I can create a simple, but more personal ceremony for the two of you? Here are two easy and inexpensive "elopement" options:
MY PLACE: This Wedding Package is perfect for those who want to get married right away, but want something more personal than City Hall. Come to MY PLACE with up to 4 friends. Say your vows, share
in a toast and in 30 minutes, you're married and on your way. Call me to schedule the day and time.
You'll find the fee is very affordable and includes filing your license with the State.
YOUR PLACE: If your wedding party is a little too large for the MY PLACE option, but you still want to get married "on the spot," let's meet locally at YOUR PLACE. Say your vows and you're ready to party with your friends. The Fee for YOUR PLACE depends upon the location, but you'll find it very affordable and includes
filing your license with the State.
MARRY US AGAIN, CAROLINE...
RENEWING YOUR VOWS: Whether you are celebrating your one-year anniversary or your fiftieth, vow renewals are a memorable way to share your love for each other with family and friends. Dream & Do — whether it's at a big anniversary party or something simple at home, I can make your Renewal Vows unforgettable.
The types of wedding ceremonies to be performed are almost endless -- especially as wedding events have become far more relaxed (and genuinely FUN) in recent years. Once you have reflected on what style of wedding you want, it’s time to start thinking about your Ceremony Style. To help you along, the following briefly describes just some of the more popular types of ceremonies.
The Feeling Of Your Wedding Ceremony
Once you have reflected on what kind of ceremony you want you want (Classic, Signature, Gold Coast, or something specific such as a Hindu Wedding Ceremony), it’s time to start thinking about the feeling of your ceremony (heartfelt, lighthearted, spiritual, not religious at all, romantic, to name a few). To help you along, here are a few thoughts:
A ceremony that is heartfelt, often has no spiritual aspects, but rather is warm, personal and from the heart — reflecting the love that you share for one another.
Many couples tell me they want the feeling of their ceremony to be lighthearted, even a little humorous.
This style makes for a more relaxed ceremony.
An expressive of love — usually a little more emotive.
A little more emotive; lets your friends and family feel more connected to you.
This incorporates traditions from both of your religious backgrounds and respectfully blends facets of both into your ceremony.
Spiritual But Not Religious
Whether you are from different religious backgrounds or simply consider yourselves“spiritual” but not religious, your vows can be written to reflect your love for one another in a spiritual manner, frequently including prayers and other traditions.
This ceremony style includes many aspects and blessings that are traditional in a religious wedding.
It's possible to include almost all of the attributes above into your ceremony in one facet or another. So don't feel restricted in choice!
This type of ceremony is short and sweet and to the point without much fanfare.
Renewal of Vows
To mark a special anniversary or other occasion in a marriage, you may want to renew your vows as a married couple. We will work together to design joyful, heartfelt and beautiful vows of any style.
The process for this type of ceremony is the same as all wedding ceremonies and can reflect the same nuances as described above.
