CEREMONY PACKAGES FOR THE PERFECT WEDDING...
Heartfelt... Romantic... Loving... Non-Religious... Spiritual/Religious... Multi-Cultural... Personal... All About You! We all know that weddings can get to be very expensive. In order to help couples live within a reasonable budget, I offer a number of different Packages with different price points — no extra charges. Any of these Packages can be adapted to incorporate other features such as children's or other family members participation, themes, bi-lingual — you dream it, I can do it! My fees vary according to the type of ceremony, the complexity, the amount of writing and the prep time needed. Currently my weekday weddings start at $450, but once you decide on the type of ceremony you want, I can give you an exact fee right away. As always, I am happy to set up a complimentary consultation -- no obligation, of course. For more details on Ceremony Packages, and the feel of your ceremony, see below. But the focus of the Gathering message is your Personal Love Story! (I’m a professional writer and published author so I know how to put together an unforgettable story you and your guests will love.) In addition, you get as much email/phone time as needed to set up and organize your Ceremony. Filing of your marriage license is included. Arrival Time: One hour+ in advance of the ceremony for final rehearsal. PLS NOTE: The Gold Love Story Ceremony is done on a limited basis, so check for availability. LGBTQ: "We've come a long way baby," so to speak and as such, same-sex marriages are really a non-issue (and I couldn’t be happier). Like any other wedding, your ceremony can be anything you want it to be. But in my experience, there are desired nuances. From traditional to secular and all the places in between, I understand those nuances and can help you create exactly the kind of vows that reflect your wants and desires, your hopes and dreams. Just as with any couple getting married, my goal is to learn about your love, what is important to each of you, and then to create the kind of memories that last a lifetime. NYC/Destination Weddings: Many couples choose to make New York City the location for their destination wedding. I am an approved New York City Officiant registered with ID #1538098. Working long-distance takes experience and I have just that. Choose anyone of the ceremony styles above or write up your own. I can also help you negotiate the sometimes stressful process of obtaining a marriage license in New York City. Destination Weddings Outside New York: Don't want to take a chance on who will be your Marriage Officiant when you get to your destination? I'm happy to go where you go. The fee will be based on type of ceremony and time needed. Air and lodging, if necessary, are provided by you. MARRY US AT YOUR PLACE, CAROLINE... Why have your wedding at a city hall when I can create a more personal ceremony for the two of you at my home? Choose from one of two very simple options: A Heartfelt Elopement or a Pop-Up Ceremony. What's the difference, you might be asking? See for yourself, read on. Heartfelt Elopement: This Wedding Package is perfect for those who want to get married right away, want to do it in a beautiful location and still want it to be personal! Come to my home, say your vows, do it in front of your 2 witnesses (or I can provide witnesses). Call me to schedule the day and time. You'll find the fee is very affordable and includes filing your license with the State. Pop-Up Ceremony: Like a fancy elopement, this package provides you with some of the details of a more formal ceremony, but on a tiny scale, including your own custom wedding vows, a symbolic ceremony, a reading of your choice, a nosegay bouquet and boutonniere and an itty-bitty guest list (invite from 4-8 guests). A la carte additional options also available include a non-alcoholic toast, a photographer, a videographer and a musician. All you have to do is just show up. Call me to schedule the day and time. One flat fee covers everything and includes filing your license with the State. Either way, in the warmer weather you can choose from several beautiful outdoor locations on the property, including down by the pond or in the Little Rose House. During the holiday season, say your vows in front of the tree. Click here for location photos and more info under the tab: Dream Elopements. MARRY US AGAIN, CAROLINE... RENEWING YOUR VOWS: Whether you are celebrating your one-year anniversary or your fiftieth, vow renewals are a memorable way to share your love for each other with family and friends. Dream & Do — whether it's at a big anniversary party or something simple at home, I can make your Renewal Vows unforgettable. The types of wedding ceremonies to be performed are almost endless -- especially as wedding events have become far more relaxed (and genuinely FUN) in recent years. Once you have reflected on what style of wedding you want, it’s time to start thinking about your Ceremony Style. To help you along, the following briefly describes just some of the more popular types of ceremonies. The Feeling Of Your Wedding Ceremony Once you have reflected on what kind of ceremony you want you want (Classic, Signature, Gold, or something specific such as a Hindu Wedding Ceremony), it’s time to start thinking about the vision or feeling of your ceremony (heartfelt, lighthearted, joyful, spiritual, religious, not religious at all, romantic, to name a few). To help you along, here are a few thoughts: Heartfelt A ceremony that is heartfelt, often has no spiritual aspects, but rather is warm, personal and from the heart — reflecting the love that you share for one another. Lighthearted Many couples tell me they want to incorporate the feeling of lightheartedness (even a little humorous) into their ceremony. Romantic An expression of love — usually a little more emotive. Personal — All About The Two Of You Lets your friends and family feel more connected to you. Interfaith This incorporates traditions from both of your religious backgrounds and respectfully blends facets of both into your ceremony. Spiritual But Not Religious Whether you are from different religious backgrounds or simply consider yourselves “spiritual” but not religious, your vows can be written to reflect your love for one another in a spiritual manner, frequently including a prayer and/or other tradition. Traditional/Religious Ceremony This ceremony style includes many aspects and blessings that are traditional in a religious wedding, but adapted to a venue setting. Combination It's possible to include almost all of the attributes above into your ceremony in one facet or another. So don't feel restricted in choice! Civil This type of ceremony is short and sweet and to the point without much fanfare. Mansion Wedding Ceremony More formal, with a little more "pomp and circumstance" to match the venue (like NYIT DeSeversky Mansion in Brookville), this type of ceremony can be anything you want, but is often the essence of the "fairytale" wedding. Renewal of Vows To mark a special anniversary or other occasion in a marriage, you may want to renew your vows as a married couple. We will work together to design joyful, heartfelt and beautiful vows of any style. Commitment Ceremony The process for this type of ceremony is the same as all wedding ceremonies and can reflect the same nuances as described above. |
